Perfect! In fact, I thought this had been already done. Just didn't have
time to write the unit tests yet. Of course, I shouldn't have integrated
the changes before completing testing, but we were very anxious to get
people like Pedro in the loop. So sorry for the slip on my part, and thanks
to Pedro for the fine work in tracking this down.
Max, can you please reopen the related issue and close it again in your
commit msg? (have limited access to computers today)
