Hi all,

First to Pablo, Jacob & the rest - thank you for your efforts - Spotlight
has a lot of potential & we really like it

I have a question regarding the specs of the DEMO server (
http://spotlight.dbpedia.org/rest/annotate/)

Can you give the specs for the demo server?

I'am asking you because we're seeing huge difference between the demo and
our installation. On a machine with Intel i5 - 8GB RAM - using the full
index and mounted whatever we can on the RAM (with some swap) - the
response time of annotate for CNN article is 30-40 sec.

When we transferred all to a server with 64 GB RAM & 64 Processor Cores -
the average response times for the same article went up to 2-3 minutes.
This just doesn't make sense :)

We're using the Run from JAR - 0.6.5 version. (
dbpedia-spotlight-0.6.5-jar-with-dependencies.jar<https://github.com/downloads/dbpedia-spotlight/dbpedia-spotlight/dbpedia-spotlight-0.6.5-jar-with-dependencies.jar>
)

We followed the instructions from here (
https://github.com/dbpedia-spotlight/dbpedia-spotlight/wiki/Troubleshooting)
& we saw some improvements (2x) - but still the difference with the DEMO
site is huge.

Cheers,
