Perhaps you could check if the /accent aigu/ is escaped correctly (see
percent encoding <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Percent-encoding>). At
least when trying the URL you specify in a browser, I get the correct
annotation in the HTML response, but when I omitted the accent (due to
laziness) with cURL, the annotation was indeed missing.
When correctly encoded, the request & response look like this:
