Looks like a nice challenge!
Is anyone else going to participate with a system based on DBp Spotlight?
I'm very interested to see how the statistical model holds up against
what others are going to try. This will be the first workshop I'm
participating in, however, so I would totally encourage someone with
more experience to defend DBpedia Spotlight's reputation ;-) .
Cheers,
Alex
PS. Joachim, since we're both at the UvA let me know if you want to get
involved in my attempt, even if it's just to tell me I'm doing it wrong :-)

Subversion Kills Productivity. Get off Subversion & Make the Move to Perforce.
With Perforce, you get hassle-free workflows. Merge that actually works.
Faster operations. Version large binaries. Built-in WAN optimization and the
freedom to use Git, Perforce or both. Make the move to Perforce.
