Hi Richard, I didn't realise the XML declaration is optional (my bad), so thanks for pointing it out! I was using a home-grown XML parser. However, since it is recommended by the specification (a SHOULD but not a MUST), it might still be good to include the line. Openlink has already implemented the change in their Virtuoso server. (Fast work!)
