DBpedia does not extract information from the textual context of articles in the sense that it tries to understand the semantics of the text. It extracts e.g. links between articles and uses the first part of the text as abstracts for the article etc., but does not use NLP parsers (yet). Kind regards, Jens -- Dipl. Inf.
