Hey
I'm hacking around with DBpedia and I'm encountering funny things, such as:
http://dbpedia.org/resource/Oracle
one of the rdf:type is
opencyc:en/RelationalDatabaseServerProgram<http://sw.opencyc.org/2008/06/10/concept/Mx4rPDiDBjX-EdaAAAABAxv-7A>
but the description is: An oracle is a person or agency considered to be a
source of wise counsel or prophetic opinion.
and the owl:sameAs links are to
opencyc:en/OracleDatabaseServer_TheProgram<http://sw.opencyc.org/2008/06/10/concept/Mx4rvmwRKJwpEbGdrcN5Y29ycA>
and
freebase:Oracle<http://rdf.freebase.com/ns/guid.9202a8c04000641f800000000002d210>
(which
is the URI that identifies a type of person)
the skos:subject are
dbpedia:Category:Prophecy<http://dbpedia.org/resource/Category:Prophecy>
and
dbpedia:Category:Divination<http://dbpedia.org/resource/Category:Divination>
I'm sure there are a lot more things out there like this. Just wanted to let
you all know. I'm trying to work on a disambiguation service, but this is
going to be harder than I thought.
