All,

I've just got official confirmation from IBM about DBpedia being a critical part of the Watson & Jeopardy project [1].

In plain English, to the DBpedia community, this means: you are free to say: Watson is using DBpedia i.e., a great demonstration of what DBpedia enables!

IBM will work their way through attribution in their collateral, starting with project web page etc.., but for now, I've been told IBM officially acknowledges the use of DBpedia re. Watson.
