Hi Bastian,
yes, you hit on a weakness of the current mapping language. Right now, a mapper 
could do nothing. The mapping language doesn't provide a sufficient solution 
for this problem. We have this issue on our to-do list. A possibility could be 
to transfer the "{{#switch: {{{Provinz|}}}"-template with its abbreviations to 
a conditional mapping that defines constant values to ontology properties.
