sorry, just noticed that .ntriples seems to be an exception here (gave the link 
for better readability) in contrast to the default xml-rdf:
http://dbpedia.org/data/United_States.rdf
n3 and json also show the problem:
http://dbpedia.org/data/United_States.n3
http://dbpedia.org/data/United_States.json
