Dear Piotr,
we are planning to make one stable software release in November within LOD2:
http://lod2.eu/Deliverable/D3.2.3.html
The problem with the DBpedia project is, that it does not have funding
itself. Several other projects (such as LOD2, Ontowiki or Vulcan) had
some deliverables which augment the software or increased the data
quality, but there is no paid staff for maintenance such as frequent
stable releases. Most of the work is done voluntarily by the community.
We would be happy to solve this issue in 2012 and institutionalize
DBpedia and get dedicated funding.

Any ideas are welcome.

My research group (AKSW) has a running archiva. I could give you an
account there and on sourceforge and if you want you can use it to make
releases ....

Sebastian
