I could help you with the .sh script as I am the one who wrote it, however,
I haven't used the .scala scripts myself yet.
You could run them using maven and one of the available launchers in
scripts/pom.xml (you can also use the /run script in the root folder).

You should also switch to the "dump" branch, as this is where the latest
dump-based dbpedia coding occurs. You will also find an interlanguageLinks
scala script there.
