Does anyone have an idea why the simple query:

select distinct ?x

?x rdfs:domain owl:Thing
}

returns only 11 items, as in:

Your query:
PREFIX rdfs: <http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema#>
PREFIX owl: <http://www.w3.org/2002/07/owl#>

SELECT DISTINCT ?x
WHERE {
  ?x rdfs:domain owl:Thing .
}

Implications:

Just execute the query without any inference.

Ultimately:

You still won't get what you seek since the version of Virtuoso in use doesn't support that kind of inference [1]. Also, inference isn't directly accessible via the public SPARQL endpoint per se, due to how it could impact other users on the service.
