Hi,

I don't think any work has been done on this. I don't know if any of
the regular developers have time, but DBpedia is an open source
project, so anybody is welcome to fork it, write some code and send a
pull request. :-)

The datatypes are not listed on the mappings wiki but in a Scala class
[1]. Nonetheless, they should be dereferencable, and they should be in
the ontology.

Here's what should be done:

1. Modify OntologyOWLWriter.scala [2] to also write the datatypes to
the OWL file. I guess this would take between two and twenty hours.
2. The OpenLink guys load the new OWL file into the dbpedia.org
endpoint and update the Virtuoso settings to make the datatypes
dereferencable.
3. In the long run, datatypes should be editable on the mappings wiki.
This will be more work, probably between 5 and 15 days. Maybe a Google
Summer of Code project.
