All,

Now that we are done with the initial release of Virtuoso 7.0, we are now commencing upgrades to the instances hosting DBpedia data. As of today, we've moved the DBpedia-Live instance that we host over to Virtuoso 7.0. The key service endpoints are as follows:

1. http://dbpedia-live.openlinksw.com/live -- Dashboard of changes as Wikipedia is updated 2. http://dbpedia-live.openlinksw.com/fct -- Precision Find & Entity Relationships Explorer (or Faceted Browsing) Service 3. http://dbpedia-live.openlinksw.com/sparql -- SPARQL Endpoint for executing SPARQL Queries.

The fundamental difference between Virtuoso 6 and Virtuoso 7 manifest in your ability to achieve much more with less i.e., without changing the computing resources on the host machines you end up with a massive increase in performance and scalability. For DBpedia data consumers you should look a this as implying that you end up being able to process more data without us making any changes to the "fair use" policy settings.

Next stop, the static DBpedia edition endpoint.
