Hello,

I'm a bit puzzled about the current version of the dbpedia ontology. The owl
Version of the ontology
(http://downloads.dbpedia.org/3.9/dbpedia_3.9.owl.bz2) has the versionInfo 3.8
but differs from the ontology of the dbpedia 3.8
(http://downloads.dbpedia.org/3.8/dbpedia_3.8.owl.bz2), which also has
versionInfo 3.8.
More puzzling is the fact that dbpedia_3.9.owl does not contain all of the
classes listed at
http://mappings.dbpedia.org/server/ontology/classes/. Notably the subclasses of
MusicalArtist are missing. The Sparql endpoint does not list these subclasses
neither.

I found however a third file at
http://mappings.dbpedia.org/server/ontology/dbpedia.owl which does contain the
subclasses of MusicalArtist and which seems to be coherent with
http://mappings.dbpedia.org/server/ontology/classes/. And this file also has
versionInfo 3.8.

In summary there are three different versions of dbpedia.owl which all carry
the versionInfo tag 3.8 and only one of them is coherent with the listing at
http://mappings.dbpedia.org/server/ontology/classes/. Is this an error or did I
miss something important

Best regards
Johannes
