Hi Divyum,
Martin is right, you should contact the virtuoso mailing list for that.
If you had a more common linux distribution (ubuntu / debian) we might be
able to assist you.
Some notes to keep in mind,
- The default directory is /usr/local/virtuoso-opensource unless you
specify --prefix in ./configure
- Check if you had any error messages in any of the steps you described
- make install usually requires root privileges
