I'm Varun Joshi. I'm interested in contributing to DBPedia and DBPedia
Spotlight. I know how open source organizations work, having contributed to
Mozilla, KDE (where I'm participating in the Season of KDE) and GNOME. I
have some experience with NLP and ML.
I had a couple of questions I thought would be best to ask over something
like IRC/Slack. Is there such a public channel? I tried #dbpedia-spotlight
on freenode but it looks like it's unused now. I'd really be grateful if
you could invite me to/tell me about some public channel.
I have read the mailing list archives and have some idea of what to do, but
if there's anything else you think might help me, please do tell.
