Hi,

I am Parag, a first-year master's student at the University of
Massachusetts, Amherst. During my bachelor's study, I had worked on an NLP
project for text classification which introduced me to the word2vec model
and word embeddings in general. That project intrigued me to learn more
about NLP and ML and hence drove me to join UMass Amherst for the master's
studies. Here, I am continuing my passion for it by doing research and
being up to date with the recent findings. Last semester I worked on a
research project that involved using the Transformer and BERT for a
prediction task. As part of the error analysis, I analyzed BERT embeddings
to better understand the linguistic features learned by them.

Recently while going through a list of ideas for GSoC 2020 I came across
"Neural Translation and Enrichment of Knowledge Graphs" and it really
aligns with the recent work I did and seems like a logical move to leap
forward in the field hence I am excited to work on it and be a part of this
community.

Regards,
Parag
