JISC released a funding call on the 11th October that makes available a total 
of £1.9m across six strands of activity.


1.       Resource Discovery (£250k)

2.       Enhancing the Sustainability of Digital Collections (£500k)

3.       Research Information Management (£450k)

4.       Research Tools (£350k)

5.       Applications of the Linking You toolkit (£140k)

6.       Access and Identity Management (£200k)

Subscribers to these lists might be particularly interested in the second of 
these areas which invites proposals to address the sustainability and value of 
digital materials. The projects will be required to benchmark perceptions of 
the value of materials; then undertake actions to enhance and reinforce that 
value; and then survey stakeholders to investigate the implications of those 
actions.

This is a broadly enabling funding opportunity and should allow a wide range of 
activities to happen within the context of thinking about sustainability. A

Monday 21 November.
