I can confirm the bug - I experienced it a while ago
and I had it in my patch set for a while (attached).
The reason I didn't submit it yet was that it is buried
somewhere in my patch set, and the preceding patches
before that one are not yet submitted. Guess I should
do that soon.

The problem was that GFP_KERNEL was used; fixed by using gfp_any().
