Glad to find a site where people are interested in details... It seems the Stonybrook shows from October 1970 are in MONO, is this a result of problems along the taping line or were they actually recorded in mono? The first two nights at Port Chester (2/18 and 2/19) in 1971 are also in mono. 2/19 was being considered for Three From The Vault and it seems unlikely that a multitrack master would be mono, especially with so many stereo recordings made before it. It just seems weird that some shows were recorded in stereo and some not, wondering if anyone has any insight... Thanks.
