There are a couple questions I have about the recording of this show and I'd appreciate any insight anyone may have. Were the Dead using metal cassettes or ADAT at this time? The sound during the first song of the first set appears to fluctuate between mono and stereo. Is this something that might have occurred on the recording medium used at the show or might this be an artifact of someone's DAT deck or burner somewhere along the taping chain? I've never experienced this particular phenomenon before. Thank you for any help you may offer...
