In addition to my previous listing:
The article in "The Family Book" is to be found on p.47
A photo of c. helms covers the most interesting part, but the following can still be read:
"The Dead played continuously,a flowing (imp)rovisatory set of new material.........(the concert was to be recorded-...... .on the next dead album,.......difficulties in setting up.....
(equip)ment scotched that)."
so a simple guess on the songlist is DS>SS>11>LL??
Furthermore i do (and a friend of mine does also) remember reading ( or listening to)an
interview w/ bobby on "making LIVE/DEAD" he says sth. like:
"we took lovelite from this show and 11 from that show.......and DS from thursday night
but we all felt the last time we played at the F.W. on wednesday night, that was the best version... but we couldn't use it ,sth. went wrong w/ the tape..."
I' guess i 've either read it in a golden road mag ..or it could be on that broadcast of the live/dead tape some band members took to ksan to be broadcast...4/69 way before the release date
I feel this should go into deadlists ..and it also sheds some light on the dubious date given for the garcia ,grisman, wakefield tape circulating w/ this date (2-19-69)
