I wonder why the good folks that take the time to transfer the tapes to CD would leave these out, especially given the completist nature of many folks who collect. In my opinion some of the between song banter can be as entertaining and historically important as the music, such as when Phil says "Quite a nice pipe whoever threw that up here, thanks" on 7/18/72 first set, which, incidentally, was edited out on my CD version.*****
This was part of the recent Homeland Security legislation.
