It appears that yesterday SpamCop (http://spamcop.net/) silently put the mail server hosting deadlists (and deadlists-digest) on their blacklist.
A naive user on another mailing list (which is unmoderated and allows postings by non-list members) apparently submitted a report to SpamCop in hopes of trying to stop spam. SpamCop instead of realizing that it couldn't trace the spammer with the submitted info instead has blacklisted the mail server hosting deadlists. It appears this blacklist could last for a week, I have Bcc'd some members on the list that have mailservers that apparently use SpamCop and are currently refusing deadlists email. Now you know.
