The Closing of Winterland is official (all 4.5 hours plus the Blues Bros and audio of NRPS) - this is, by the way, 12/31/78.
As far as 8/27/72, well the Pranksters have been saying this is going to come out for a long time. I have a high gen video of this, and it is damn cool. It has been known to be screened at times in theaters (S.F. fairly recently, I believe). So, in other words, don't hold your breath on this one.
