You should really consider making the jump into CD-R. You seem to have PC access, so you are half-way there. You can pick up a cheap burner on sale with rebates for around $40. Cars run $20 +/- per 50 spindle for Fujis (which are good discs). So, for, what, around $1.20, you have a complete show, with no generational loss from copy to copy. If you have high speed access, shit, you can find just about any GD show out there (check out the massive list at TOL.etree.com (for example). How much do analogs cost? Well, back when I was doling tapes, I seem to remember each tape cost more than $1.20 per tape (for something good like Maxell XLII. II's were even better and cost more). A complete show took 2 tapes. It costs more to send the tapes. You also have the aforementioned generational loss. So why do analogs? I gave all of mine away. I won't go into who or how or why (Jesus said to not brag about your good deeds...).
Anyway, Josh (and please, just Josh as I don't have time to burn for a bunch of people), pick out some shows from my list, and I will be happy to do ya a B&P. My list is up to date other than a couple of Deep Purple shows. You'll find that many people will be happy to hook you up. Also, if you are looking for a specific show, I can probably get it for you before your B&P gets to my door. Please contact me off-list. Hey, everyone, let's get Josh started into the digital realm...
