I attended the 10.31.83 show at Marin Vets. Airto was an additional percussionist throughout the entire first set and the beginning of the second set, and after sharing percussion duties for the first part of the drumz, he took over the traps. I do have notes somewhere, but I believe he did not return after the "space" section, but I will check.
I can't recall whether Flora Purim joined in for the drum solo. I remember for a fact that she did at the Greek Theatre on 5.15.83. Airto's epic duet with Jerry on the trap drums that afternoon is scorched into my memory. Billy Cobham played percussion as well. I just checked Deadlists, and I see they are not listed, so they should be added there too (only during drums/space, I think. I will check my notes on that too). Corry Arnold
