The acoustic set from 9/20/70 has always been a
fav!
The Deep Elem Blues also has mandolin, which is the song
before Friend Of The Devil (assume Grisman?)! I was not at this show, just
have a cassette.

re: 8/5/70 cassette (I was not there either)-
it sounds like mandolin only on songs from El Paso to
Sweet Chariot (not the whole show, check for yourself!).
I spent the past 2 days playing versions of Deep Elem, and
also got to hear a few other songs too, sometimes complete sets I
haven't played in a decade...

Please mention to Marc Blaker THANKS for updating
05/16/70, my first show songlist from the partial tape I sent!! I would ADD,
from my first hand memory, that they did also play LOVELIGHT!!!!
Also, I still have Marc's email address, and did
recently find the old snail mail address of source for my partial 5/16 tape, so
I may be able to pass on his request for a lower gen digital version for the
archive... I did not forget.
