FWIW the show opened with Garcia doing a full set with NRPS.

During the course of the final jam, Pigpen advanced to the middle front 
of the stage several times; each time carving from head height downwards 
- holding the microphone and a loop of cable like a bowie knife.  
Garcia, Weir, Lesh continued intense and unchanged and he would return 
to the back side of the stage.  At about the 3rd/4th time of asking, the 
instruments started to ease unwinding into Lovelight.
