The poster for these dates is a pretty classic Rick Griffin poster (http://www.deadlists.com/posters/1960s/67-03-24_26.html) Of course it's possible the shows were cancelled - does anybody know? Also, I found a reference to another GD show on 3/26/67 at http://hometown.aol.co.uk/tabacid/page8.html, a site for the band Clear Light. They state, "3/26/67 1967 Griffith Park Easter Sunday "Love In' with Steve Miller Band and The Grateful Dead" A chronology at The Diggers site http://www.diggers.org/chrono_notes.htm shows "3/26/67. Easter Sunday "Mill-In" at the corner of Haight and Ashbury. Hundreds of hippies blocked traffic for three hours by playing the Intersection Game (repeat of Halloween event.) Twelve people were arrested. Other Easter Be-Ins took place in Los Angeles and New York. (see Chron 3/27/67, p. 1, p. 7. See also editorial, 3/28/67, p. 36 decrying the "tie up")." It would be interesting to know if the 3/27/67 Chronicle says the Dead played. Iver
