I was at this show. It was definitely a Wall Of Sound show, so it might have been in 1974. I'm not sure.
I do know it occurred at Cleveland Public Auditorium, which is the same as Cleveland Public Hall. You may want to change the main venue listings to reflect that. It DID NOT occur at the Convention Center. I don't ever remember any band playing there. It's just not set up for it. I recall Wharf Rat being the last song played that night. I also remember the girl jumping onstage....I thought she kissed Garcia, but it was a long time ago. It was one hell of a night. Outrageous. There were probably at least 200 Hells Angels there in full battle dress, some Hare Krishnas with joss sticks and finger cymbals, and lots of colorful people all painted and costumed up. It was a blast. A real underground event. The end of an era. The Wall Of Sound had no soundboard. Owsley himself told me this and I've seen the block diagrams for it-so technically SDBs can't exist for these shows. A final note for the main venue listings; It's ALLEN Theater in Cleveland, not Allan Hope this helps. ........... J!!!
