This IS a valid place to discuss the first topic you pose. It's just that these types of discussions don't come up too often lately;
Obviously, once you get to the point where nearly all circulating GD shows have been documented, there's much less to discuss. There are still a good number of shows that do not have a circulating source, but that number has dwindled dramatically since Latvala's library of cassettes was outted. A rough query of the Deadlists database shows 445 out of 2641 date entries that do not have a matching entry on Archive.org. Of those, there are about 200 in the deadlists database that explicitly state there is nothing in circulation. So, there really aren't many shows that have nothing circulating, publicly anyway. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Hep Dude > Sent: Wednesday, December 14, 2005 10:03 AM > To: deadlists@nemesis.CS.Berkeley.EDU > Subject: Best place for in-depth discussion ?? > > Hi ! > > I was wondering - where is the best place for serious and > in-depth discussion of issues like: > > - Determination of actual dates of particular sources > - Are particular shows actually GD (eg 7/64, 12/24/68, etc.) > > and so forth.
