Hi,
I've added a field to the database called "Master Source", intended to
populate more detailed information on the actual recording source(s) for
each show.
I prepopulated this field with information I had from a 8-9 year old
document called "Rob Eaton's Tape List". Mr. Eaton had included the Vault
sources for many (~1200) shows. Each entry looks like this:
02/27/69 The Fillmore West, San Francisco Ca - complete
4.9, 120min, Sbd, A0D2, Reel M->1630->Dat 1, 44k,
2inch 16trk Master [EMAIL PROTECTED]>PCM 1630 x 0->3700 x 1
So, I've parsed the data to extract the initial master source and put it
into its own field in the database, and then it is appended to the
Recordings section when looking at shows on the site. Its always the last
line of this section:
Recordings 180 SB vault multi-track SB
Master recording source(s): 2inch 16trk Master
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Obviously, I could not verify in advance and is incomplete, but it can be
updated and/or added to should anyone want to post that information.
