Three things about this show.
First, the New Riders opened. References are given at the Jerry Site.
Second, it's not clear to me that Truckin' was the last song. The
"Musiccricket" column of the Bugle-American newspaper (v.2, n.11, #24, March
18-24, 1971. p. 18) says that they played "a long medley-jam of their stuff,
beginning with 'Truckin''."
Third, various Milwaukee newspapers published reviews of the show, with lots of
commentary about overcrowding, etc. While lots of hassles and bummers (and some
good things) were discussed, there was no mention of the band finishing up
early to catch a plan, as the current Deadlists entry suggests.
