Copying the list as I don't know if all the direct email addresses for
caretakers are correct.

I'd open this discussion to the registered list user community anyway.

Subject: The Dead's Most Epic Shows

Dear Caretakers of the Deadlists Project,

My company, Curious Sense, has a partnership with Grateful Dead Productions
and Rhino to produce an online and mobile game based on the legacy of the
Grateful Dead. Our first version of the game launches this December, and
will kick-off a year we're calling Grateful Dead 2012 - The Epic Tour. Our
game will take players on a trip through Grateful Dead time and space -
opportunities to 'flashback' to the band's 10 most epic shows. As we launch
the game in December we'll be asking the community to vote and choose the 10
most epic shows, and thus to choose the itinerary for the trip we'll take in
the game.

I would love your help, as curators and caretakers. We'd like to narrow down
the choices of shows, and we thought to start with you all. We want to
invite each of you to choose the best shows from the year that you caretake.
Ideally we'd like to have ten or fewer shows per year for the community to
vote on. I will be happy to tell you more about our project or to answer any
questions. If you're interested, or curious, will you drop me a line?

Thanks to all of you for the good work you do for us all.

Adam
