Hello Heads-

First of all, thank you for the compiling the great resource that is
deadlists.com. I visit the site frequently for research purposes or just
to enjoy some context from the show.

I am in the early stages of attempting to listen to my entire digital dead
collection and update the labeling as necessary.

There are a couple of tunes that I have labeled 1969?? or similar since
that is the way it came to me (or worse).

I poured through the comments from the 1969 and 1970 UJB search results to
no avail.

I am wondering if you can help identify the following Uncle John's Band, or
point me in another direction. Below follows a transcript of the stage
banter I hear from this version of UJB. If that helps with a positive ID,
great! If not, I hope the dialogue brings a smile to your face.

Uncle John's Band 1969.??.?? (may have come to me labeled "Jam with Neal
Cassady"!? - obviously mislabeled).

The total duration of the recording is 6:20. It is an acoustic version
and I believe from the chatter, it is the final encore from the show that
night.

0:00 - 0:22 - audience cheering and muffled chatter from the stage
0:23 - 0:27 - "Hey, if you're gonna throw dope up here, throw it so we can
see where it goes, will ya please?" - Phil*
0:29 "Wooh." - Jerry or Pig
0:31 - 0:34 "Garcia!" from audience followed by 3 mocking "GwaCeeYa" goofs
from the stage.
0:40 - 0:44 "Well now if you folks would all be kind enough to be quiet for
awhile, we're gonna sing a purdy little ole' song." - Phil*
0:46 - 0:47 "With only an acoustic guitar." - Phil*
0:50 - 6:06 UJB
6:07 "Goodnight." - Phil*
6:10 "Goodnight." - Jerry
6:10 - 6:12 "See ya all next weekend I hope." - ?
6:13 - 6:20 applause

*this voice sounds most like Phil to me, but a just a bit different. I
suppose it could be someone who sounds a lot like Phil, but I'm 90% sure it
is Phil. He just sounds different. Maybe it is the recording or just his
"young man" voice.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Colin
