Uh oh, I just noticed that both these dates I specified below were filled at the Fillmore by other shows. Maybe I have the venues switched. Sorry. I need to know what date these 5 acts played in this window of time in S.F. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Through elimination using your list, posters, the Vault, the Setlist, and other sites, I've whittled it down to either 1/10/69 or 1/11/69 (Friday and Saturday), or 3/7/69 or 3/8/69 (Friday and Saturday). It almost had to be 3/8/68 for a variety of factors I won't waste your time on. I know it happened because I was there. It had to be this window because I got to Language School in Monterey in early January and went to Vietnam about April 18. I'll never forget that I had to choose between seeing Hendrix at the Avalon or the Dead at the Fillmore West. Never got to see Hendrix, so I made an incorrect choice. Do you know what date they played? If you don't have it, then it means it is an additional date you may want to consider adding to your list once you verify it, because it definitely happened. Weirdest concert experience I ever had. I vividly recall the entire roomful of people floating up and down in waves and I hadn't done any drugs! Completely inexplicable to me to this day. Bill Cosby was walking around wearing his western cowboy outfit of black with silver conchos and trim all over it, including the hat. I can recall a lot of details about it, but I have a vague recollection of John Cippollina sitting it with the Dead, not sure. Thanks.
