Well, with respect to the 60s, there's a lot of uncertainty about what
shows were played. Many shows currently on Deadbase and Deadlists are not
likely to have occurred. September 2, 1967 at Cabrillo College is pretty
unlikely, for example, and is only on most lists because the poster got
into the *Art Of Rock* book (
http://lostlivedead.blogspot.com/2011/06/september-2-1967-cabrillo-college.html).
The Napa show at least features newspaper ads from the same week. As far as
the 60s go, I'm much more in favor of publishing advertised dates with
appropriate caveats about what is confirmed and unconfirmed.
