Hi everybody
I want to change to a 64 bit system so I would like to know if there is
any special requirement that I need to consider so that I can be able to
use deal.II on the new system?I want to ask as well about the following
issue:
I am trying to solve a 3d coupled flow problem and in order to collect
the pressure mass matrix to use as a preconditioner for the schur
complement I use a different fe object and dof_handler object that
descibe only trilinear approximations, than I do in order to describe
the actual system.I do that because as far as I understand if I use the
objects that describe the actual system I will have to allocate memory
for the viscous-reaction terms that I do not use for the preconditioner.
I could do the assembling of the pressure mass matrix as in step-22 but
I am using stabilized Q1-Q1 elements so the zero entry is actually
occupied. Is there any other better way someone can suggest?Or am
understanding wrong in terms of the memory allocation?
Thanks in advance
Alex
