Hi everybody I am trying to set up the code for the time dependent advection equation by using SUPG stabilization. For the moment what I am computing is nonesense. I wan to know if there is a way to calculate the elementwise L2 norm of the solution since the stabilization constant involves this quantity and in particular I need to be able to calculate the velocity at the center of the cell and then figure out that L2 norm. Secondly, has anyone dealt with this kind of problem to offer some advice? This code will be use for the advection of a free surface between a liquid and a pseudo fluid. Thus it will be coupled with a Brinkman's solver. Has anyone any experience on these stuff?How exactly the simulation is meant to start?
