Hi Adam:     I did not know that they existed! Would have saved me some trouble, although I think my troubles with Example 18 is not specific to Debian/Ubuntu (refer to my earlier posting). Anyway, thanks for this, please let me know if you need any help building the packages for Ubuntu 8.10.
