Dear deal.II users and developers,
we will hold a workshop on
Recent and Future Development with and of deal.II
August 23-25, 2010 at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. The
intent of this workshop is to discuss development of finite
element codes based on the deal.II library, as well as future
directions of the deal.II library itself.
We invite talks and plan discussions by users and existing
developers in the following areas:
- use cases and applications of the library
- what users think would be useful directions for the library
to go into, things that are missing, and possibly getting
people together who can help implement those parts
- newer parts of the library (e.g. hp, multithreading,
optimization, etc) and how these could help in your programs.

Submission of title and abstract of a talk for the conference can be
