gcc version 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-10) As an aside: I am also trying it on CentOS release 5.5 and gcc version 4.1.2 and it also seems to run fine :) So I guess I don't have a problem as long as atelast one of these installs but it might help you to know for what OS it is not installing.
