Dear friends, due to some incomplete testing, there were some installation problems with Release 6.3.0, mostly on Mac and Cygwin platforms.
We are happy to announce that the problems known to us have been fixed in Release 6.3.1, which has been put on the deal.II web page today. 6.3.1 is only a bug fix release for 6.3.0, so if you are happy with the current version, there is no reason to download the new one. If you are having problems though, you should try 6.3.1 and see if they have been resolved.
