Well, only RDict.log is attached, and that's not it. See if you can attach make.log.

That said, you'll need to learn to look for these sorts of errors. PETSc is a package that is written by people who know what they're doing. If the configure step finds a problem, there likely is a real problem in your system, whatever it may be. Play with their configure options, starting with the simplest setup you can think of, and try to find out which step it is that fails and why.
