Maxi, can you clarify which of the variables and coefficients are vector-valued and which a scalar-valued? Do all your \cdot relate to scalar products? Can you write down \nabla \cdot (k_N\cdot N) in components? Assuming that N, T_E and T_L are scalar, (k_N\cdot N) should be vector-valued for this to make sense which implies k_N to be vector-valued. Is this correct?
