This is really a much larger question than is appropriate on this mailing 
list. There are many companies out there that build clusters of computers that 
are connected through higher-speed interconnects than just regular Ethernet 
cables. But the thing about all of this is that building and running such 
clusters requires specialized knowledge -- which I suspect very few people on 
this mailing list actually have. Find someone in your department or university 
who has done this before and knows how to do it!
