The error is in eclipse -- it just doesn't understand the code. That happens all the time: Eclipse is not a compiler, it just does its best trying to understand what you are doing, but it's not actually very good at it. So it (i.e., the eclipse editor) sometimes complains -- but that's ok, the only thing that really matters is that the code *compiles* correctly, not that the editor understands everything.
